23- Day Old Newborn Baby Girl Photography in Cleveland
We had shot Alice’s parent’s wedding photography and video a couple of years ago and I was absolutely thrilled to get the call that they wanted me to shoot their baby daughter’s newborn photos. The only problem was that little Alice was already over three weeks old.
There are a lot of photographers that won’t even consider doing a newborn session with a baby that is over 10 days old since they tend to be fussier and are harder to work with but not me! Although poses and props become a bit more limited due to baby’s size, I always LOVE a challenge. Baby Alice… challenge accepted!
I’m not going to lie, there were a couple of moments when it seemed like Alice absolutely wasn’t going to let me take a single shot of her. But after two full feedings, lots of shooshing, swaying and bouncing, I was finally able to get Alice settled and comfy and she did a magnificent job! Another plus: I was able to get all of my steps in during her session!!! This 23-day old little mama really made me work for it, but I think that the end results speak volumes!
