We were so excited to get the call that Brittany was engaged! We had shot her sister Samantha’s wedding video back in 2010 and absolutely fell in love with the Small family.
Brittany told us that she had always dreamed of having her wedding reception in the backyard of the home that she grew up in, but the house was also currently being sold. Luckily, the new owners of the house, who happen to be friends of the family, agreed to let Brittany and Chris hold their lavish event prior to final closing. The Small family home was transformed into an unbelievably picturesque setting thanks to Roxanne from Kirkbrides and a long list of top-notch vendors. It truly was the perfect setting for their first look, outdoor photos and reception.
Quite possibly one of the best (and most bittersweet) moments of the entire evening was when Mr. Small sang along to the song “Welcome To My House”. Everyone on the dance floor crowded around him and cheered as he truly and genuinely welcomed all 150+ guests to his home.
We had such a great time with Brittany and Chris. Their day went so smoothly. Along with their super fun and tight-knit families and group of friends, we were able to capture SO many hysterical and emotion-filled moments. What an amazing and memorable experience it was for the entire family!
