Gabby & Rex – Wedding Film – Beshert and Their Date with Destiny

Gabby & Rex – Jewish Wedding at the Hilton Downtown Cleveland Ohio from Mystic Image – Cleveland Ohio on Vimeo.

Gabby & Rex – Jewish Wedding Ceremony & Reception at the Hilton Downtown Cleveland Ohio

The term beshert is most often used to mean a soulmate: the one person whom an individual is divinely destined to marry…

Rex was not a big believer in the concept of beshert…  until he met Gabby, under the most unusual circumstances.  A few years later, Rex has no doubt.

Gabby & Rex’s love story is one of the most genuine we have ever had the privilege of sharing.  It is told here thru their own words, and the words of their family.

The stage was set and the “most beautiful chuppah I’ve ever seen” was designed and erected by the talented staff of Peter Bouterse Studio.  The quartet began to play “Erev Shel Shoshanin”.   The Groom and his parents processed.  Tears were shed.  As the doors at the back of the ballroom were opened, the Bride appeared in beams of light.  She walked down with her Mother and Father.  The Rabbi Franklin Muller presided over the solemn, yet entertaining, Jewish wedding ceremony.  Rings were exchanged.  Wine was sipped.  The glass was broken.  Mazel Tov!

During the reception, a heartfelt toast and story by Gabby’s father Howard related the unbelievable story of how the Gabby & Rex’s Grandfathers, both Holocaust survivors, met, worked together, and befriended each other over 60 years ago in Pittsburgh.  They eventually went their separate ways, only to later have their families reunited by Gabby & Rex’s love.

Enough tears – Time to party!  Uncle Kenny Goodman played a special version of “Sunrise Sunset” on his trumpet.  Special Productions kept the party moving all night long.

Pat Butto, Marianne and the Party People team of Canfield skillfully planned and coordinated this event.  Jaclyn Herrera and the crew at the Hilton Cleveland Downtown did an outstanding job pulling off this masterpiece.

Every time we watch this video, we get teary-eyed all over again.  We hope you do too!
