When Leah’s father stood up to give his toast, he shared that ever since he first met Colin, he never once worried that his little girl would be well cared for. He continued to say that “Colin is not a man of many words, but he is a man of action”. This statement could not be further from the truth. Although he really doesn’t say much, you can tell that Colin’s devotion belongs solely to his faith, his family and now to his new wife Leah.
Both Leah and Colin’s families truly love and embrace their strong sense of faith which I believe prepared these two so well for marriage. Their ceremony, held at Mayfield United Methodist Church, was filled with beautiful worship. It was this dedication to the Lord that first brought this couple together and will also inevitably be what keeps their marriage steadfast throughout the years.
Can I just say that I have never seen the Mayfield Sand Ridge Club look as beautiful as it did that evening! And oh what an evening it was! From the striking floral designs from Forest Woods to the incomparable sounds of the K Street Band, Leah and Colin’s night just kept getting better and better. Hands down, one of the best things that happened that evening was when both Leah and Colin’s fathers got up on stage and performed their version of “500 Miles” by the Proclaimers… and by the way… the Rockin’ Dads were really good!!!
Leah and Colin, thank you from the bottom of our hearts, for trusting us to document the biggest day of your life together thus far. We hope you love looking back on these memories as much as we loved capturing them for you. Congratulations!
