In all of my years of shooting weddings, I have never met a couple who were so deeply rooted in their families, their heritage and their faith as Mary and Petros. Celebrating both their nuptials and their reception at St. Demitrios with 400 of their closest friends and family members was the perfect fit for their traditional Greek wedding.
Mary is such a kind-hearted and mild-mannered person. Throughout the chaos of having a super tight timeline on one of the hottest days of the year, her positive outlook really kept the day moving in the right direction. Oh yes, and did I mention that she has one of the most angelic voices I’ve ever heard? Not only was she the beautiful bride that day, but she was also the soloist who sang the “Our Father” prayer during her own ceremony. Whoa!!! And Petros… can I just say that this guy has one of the most genuine smiles I’ve ever seen. It’s totally infectious!! When he smiles, you can’t help but smile too. These two could have been completely stressed out and you would never know it! Calm, cool and collected… and so much in love.
Mary and Petros, you two are truly something special and we are so excited for you as you embark on a brand new journey in your life! We hope that you enjoy our favorites from your wedding day as much as we do. Congratulations again!
